R2i also has other quality features that have been carefully considered. Our new high contrast display with
large format clock makes time reading clearly legible even from afar. On the front panel a headphone socket along with a line input allows headphones and other audio devices to be easily connected. Usefully the volume of the headphones output is ‘remembered’ independently from the main volume, so whenever headphones are inserted the volume reverts to the users last selected level. On the rear panel we’ve provided two pairs of high quality
gold-plated phono sockets. The first provides output for recording or hook-up to secondary systems and the second provides an additional input for the permanent connection of a CD/MP3 player or TV/DVD. Completing R2i is a
compact remote control that enables all key R2i and iPod functions to be set and operated from the comfort of a chair or bed.
The Ruark Audio R2i also has sleep and alarm timers, making it the perfect bedside system and it also features headphone and audio out inputs for personal listening or additional hifi connection. It also features two line inputs: perfect for connecting external sources and taking advantage of the high-quality amplifier and speakers inbuilt into the Ruark Audio R2i.
